Privacy notice

This notice explains what JevTrader stores about you and why. It is written in plain English on purpose.

This page is a plain-English draft, not reviewed legal text. It reaches no legal conclusion and is not a substitute for advice.

What we store

  • Your account: the email address you sign up with, your display name, and a hashed password.
  • Your broker connection: the API keys you connect, so a bot can trade on your account. They are used only to place and read trades for your own account.
  • Your trading records: bots you create, their settings and limits, the orders they place, positions, and the plain-English log of decisions.
  • Technical records: sign-in and error logs needed to keep the service working and to investigate faults.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising or analytics tracking on this website, and we do not build an advertising profile of you. Your broker keys are not sent to an AI model and are not written into the decision log.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in after you log in. It is strictly necessary for the service to work, so it is set without a consent banner. We set no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. Your browser’s local storage may hold small preferences, such as onboarding progress, on your own device.

Who else is involved

Your broker holds your account and your money; we only send it the orders your bots place. Our payment provider handles subscription payments, so it sees your billing details and not your trading. Our hosting provider stores the service and its database. Each of them processes data on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Account and trading records are kept while your account exists so your history is intact. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your personal data, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or fraud purposes. Sign-in logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can disconnect your broker keys at any time, which stops any bot from trading. Requests go through the support page.

  • The lawful basis for each purpose, and the international-transfer position if any processor is outside the UK.
  • The named sub-processors (hosting, database, payment provider) and the current processor agreements.

  • The cookie statement checked against what the built site actually sets, including localStorage.
  • The children's-age position and the marketing-consent position for the YouTube launch.
